My First Appearance On The Spoken Word Label Podcast

It was November 2021 when I first spoke to Andy NPoet on his Spoken Word podcast, and he was hitting the three hundred episode mark.

At the time I described myself as an Essex woman in her mid forties, on her second husband, with two dogs and no children. Inspired by David Sedaris’s humour, Barbara Conwys writing style, and Sarah Millican’s unashamed love of food.  As well as being the author of two books, and a blog, Eden is a creativity coach with a variety of workshops, and an author coaching programme, called ‘Out of your head and onto the page’.

Her first book ‘Down With Frogs’ (released August 2018), a collection of humorous, candid and occasionally tragic stories about the frogs you have to kiss before you find your prince, or give up looking.

Eden’s second book ‘Laughing at Myself'(released June 2020), a collection of stories about the times life conspires to make you look like an idiot, and how to survive the embarrassment."

Andy N is the author of ten full-length poetry collections, the last two being 'From the Diabetic Ward Volume 1' and 'Changing carriages at Birmingham New Street' and numerous split poetry books, including 'run away with Me in 7 Words' with his wife Amanda Steel (Also known as Amanda Nicholson).

He is the co-host of Chorlton Cum Hardy's always-welcoming Spoken Word Open Mic Night which meets on the first Thursday of each month,

Andy creates ambient music under the name of Ocean in a Bottle (and side ambient projects such as Polly Ocean and Mandy in a Bottle).

And is the host and the creator of 'Spoken Label', a podcast series formed in 2015 designed to interview and record sessions with authors, poets, artists and musicians in North East England and beyond.

As if that wasn’t enough Andy also runs a TV and Film review podcast series with his wife Amanda Nicholson, Beth McMillin and Grant Curnew, 'Not the TV Guide' (available in all of the usual places).

His official website is onewriterandhispc.blogspot.co.uk/ and he is always interested in undertaking performing / new projects.
